AE - Over 100 contributions during SRIA consultatiThe SCAR Strategic Working Group on Agroecology (SCAR AE SWG) is developing the European partnership's Strategic Research Innovation Agenda (SRIA) of the future European Partnership on accelerating farming systems transition: agroecology living labs and research infrastructures (AELLRI).

Earlier this year, the Working Group organised a comprehensive consultation on the first consolidated version of the SRIA. The purpose was to collect feedback on the draft SRIA from a broad range of stakeholders and allow contributions to proposed priorities, their relevance and expected impacts. Over 100 contributions were received between July and October 2022 from diverse actors (e.g. education, academic, farming sector, extension services, authorities, industry, NGOs…).

The SCAR AE SWG reviewed and consolidated the inputs received and presented them back to respondents in November. A final draft of the SRIA will be available this month. Once the partnership is launched (tentatively in 2024), the future decision-making body under the partnership will formally adopt the SRIA into its framework.
