Fourth and the final SCAR-Engage Call for Expression of Interest
📣 The fourth and the final SCAR-Engage Call for Expression of Interest is now open!
We are pleased to announce that the fourth round of the SCAR-Engage Programme is officially underway. It aims to support new members in the SCAR Working Groups/Task Force (WGs/TF) and to strengthen national visibility across the European R&I landscape. The purpose is simple: to help new members - particularly from countries that are less represented - gain the knowledge, support, and connections they need to take part in SCAR WG activities with confidence.
The Programme invites applicants through two pathways:
1️⃣ Country-level Expression of Interest
Members of National Delegations to the Standing Committee on Agricultural Research (SCAR) who wish to enhance their country’s representation and contribute to advancing national R&I agendas are encouraged to apply via the Country Expression of Interest form.
2️⃣ Expert Interest Application
Experts eager to join SCAR but unsure how to reach their Country’s SCAR Delegate may submit an Expert Interest application. The RefreSCAR SCAR-Engage Committee welcomes these submissions as an entry point to the SCAR community.

Expert Interest Applications: Friday, 5th June 2026 17:00 CET
Country-level Expression of Interest Applications: Friday, 12th June 2026 17:00 CET
⭐ Important Notes:
✅ Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online application form.
✅ Countries already selected during the 1st, 2nd and the 3rd Call - Bulgaria, Greece, Iceland, Poland, Romania, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Cyprus, Croatia and Hungary - are not eligible to apply again in this call.
