Standing Committee on Agricultural Research (SCAR)

The workshop aims at elaborating on the role of technological innovation in agriculture – with a particular focus on satellite and remote sensing applications – in light of the post 2020 Common Agricultural Policy, recently proposed by the Commission. It will match the points of view of the policy makers, the remote sensing industry and the end-users in order to deliver a comprehensive overview of the opportunities and challenges that the digital transformation poses to the agricultural sector.
