Carla Brites

is a researcher at INIAV with PhD and aggregation in Food Science at the University of Lisbon.

Since 2014 she is nominated national Delegate to H2020 for SC2 "Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine, maritime and inland water research, and the Bioeconomy”.

Activities comprised analyzing, coordination and evaluation of research activities in the agro-food area.

She has many years of experience in management of national and trans-national research projects (CYTED, FP7).

She is also president of the National Technical Committee of Standardization of Cereals and derivatives and invited professor at the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies.
