Annemarie Groot

Is working at Corporate Strategy & Accounts and Wageningen Environmental Research  which are  part of the Wageningen University and Research, The Netherlands.

She holds a PhD in social science and a BSc in Tropical Agriculture from the Wageningen University.

She has more than 25 years of experience in national and international research projects.

She is especially experienced in the facilitation of multi-stakeholder processes addressing complex societal issues in the domain of climate change adaptation, sustainable agriculture and natural resources management.

She was involved in the climate ERA-NET CIRCLE 2 project in which she addressed science - policy interface issues.

Currently she is involved in the CGIAR programme CCAFS and facilitates user engagement in multiple Copernicus Climate Services (C3S) projects.

In SCAR CASA she contributes to Work Package 1, especially to the mentoring programme (Task 1.3) and the national meetings that aim to enhance visibility and use of SCAR outcomes in Member States (task 1.4).
